Keno Tactics That Work

It will not often be considered the best game in the universe of betting, but keno has millions and millions of passionate enthusiasts. And it should! It’s a consistently entertaining lottery-esque game that’s a breeze to play, readily available in many alternate styles, and one that can return mega-dollars for players who master its many subtle nuances. But let’s start with the basic rules for now.

When describing keno to newbies, some betting masters compare it to bingo. This is at least in some ways correct, in that each game is generally numerical. However, to take that comparison too far can be to devalue the many unique aspect that make keno so entertaining. Unlike bingo, keno users have the ability to choose the numbers for every card.

Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the user is given an additional level of personal responsibility by being able to pick as numerous (or as few) numbers as she needs. And it doesn’t take a keno superstar to come up with how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your handpicked numbers with a ordinary#2 pencil like you used back in school.

Now that you’ve selected your numbers, carry your game card back to the nice person at the keno stand. The nice person will record your numbers and then give you a receipt. Do not drop this (potentially) valuable bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your mug and wants help out, without a winning receipt in hand, you will get exactly $.00 for your time spent.

So, there you have strategy number one: always make sure to keep your keno receipt. Let us move to something a little more complex, yes?

After you’ve selected your numbers, settle into a nice keno booth and see the action happen on the screen. This is where the winning numbers appear in lights. If you’ve got winners, mark your card aptly. Be sure not to dilly dally, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You must get back to the keno booth to collect your winnings, and a new round of keno will certainly start up within a few minutes.

Strategy number two: always get back to the keno stand on time!

Assuming you can not trust yourself to beat that five-minute margin each time, you always retain the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the same set of your selected numbers on anywhere from two to 20 tickets. When the maximum amount of games (matching the number of tickets) is played out, you are then able to get off your numb butt and go redeem your winnings.

Still another alternative is known as a "stray and play" keno card, which usually lets you make number selection for 30 keno rounds or more. Gosh, you can take all the time in the world and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to redeem your winnings. Most "stray and play" slips are good for up to a whole year after you by it!

And now you have learned a number of necessary schemes for winning keno. If you are an adept gambler, they might seem to be stupidly obvious. Still, it does not hurt to brush up on the basics, and if you are a novice player, every little bit of information will help make your keno gambling more fun.
