Keno Schemes That Work
It may not often be looked at as the most fun game in the universe of gambling, but keno has loads of devout supporters. As well it should! It’s a routinely thrilling lottery-like game that’s a snap to master, abundantly available in many alternate variations, and one that may return millions for gamblers who master its innumerable subtle nuances. But let’s start with the basic rules for now.
When describing keno to novices, some gambling connoisseurs compare it to the lottery. This is at least to some extent correct, in that each game is generally numerical. However, to take that comparison too far might be to discount the endless unique traits that make keno so entertaining. Not like bingo, keno players have the freedom to select the numbers for each card.
Keno cards have a grand total of 80 numbers, but the gambler is furnished with an extra level of personal responsibility by being able to pick as many (or as few) numbers as she needs. And it doesn’t take a doctor of keno to determine how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your desired numbers with a good old#2 pencil like you had back in school.
Once you’ve marked your numbers, take the keno card back to the clerk at the keno booth. The girl will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Make sure no to misplace this (potentially) lucrative piece of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your mug and wants help out, without a winning slip on you, you will get exactly $.00 for your winning card.
And there you have strategy numero uno: always take care to keep your keno receipt. Let’s move on to something a little more complex, shall we?
After you’ve checked off your numbers, get into a comfy keno booth and observe the action happen on a video monitor. That’s where the winning numbers show up for us. If you’ve got winning numbers, mark your card aptly. Be sure not to dally, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You want to get back to the keno stand to collect your winnings, and a new keno game will probably begin within five minutes.
Strategy #2: always make it back to the keno stand on time!
Since you can’t trust yourself to make that five-minute deadline each time, you always have the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the self same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty tickets. When the maximum amount of rounds (matching the amount of tickets) is completed, you should then get off your numb butt and go get your winnings.
Yet an additional opportunity is known as a "stray and play" keno card, which commonly lets you make number picks for thirty keno rounds or more. Hell, you can take all the time in the world and not have to fret about getting back in time to collect your numbers. Most "stray and play" slips are good for up to a whole year after you by it!
And now you know a couple of required methods for winning keno. If you are a good user, they may seem very obvious. Still, it will not hurt to brush up on the fundamentals, and if you are a beginner user, every little bit of advice will help make your keno experience more agreeable.
